New Regulations On Edibles Are Harshing Colorado’s Mellow

The new regulations, which do not extend to medicinal marijuana, include “Separability Laws,” mandating all recreational edibles be divided into 10mg servings – that is, each individual serving has no more than 10mg of THC and there can be no more than 100mg total in an entire package – and new, more stringent labeling and packaging requirements.

High Stakes For Would-Be Weed Farmers in Ouray County

In contrast to Adams County in the Denver Metro area, where more than 1,600 people applied to a lottery system which last week granted a total of just 10 applications for marijuana testing, manufacturing, growing, and retail sales, there has not turned out to be much competition – so far – for the available slots in Ouray County.
